Robin in the Garden

I see a robin in the garden

I go outside and say "Pardon".

His chest is like fire

his legs as thin as wire.

his back is like milk chocolate

he can fit inside my pocket.

I go back inside to get some water

Mum says she can't find the fly-swatter.

I shrug and go back outside

to find the robin go down the slide.

I leave the water on the bird table

and as I go back inside I trip on a cable.

As I leave the bird has a bath

What's his name? I didn't ask.
