Dave's Holiday

Dave went on a holiday

to take a break from his boss.

He went to Paris

and he got quite lost.

He was supposed to go

to his grandma's house.

Instead he went to cheap hotel

and found under his bed a mouse.

Grandma was waiting at the table

she had poured him a cup of tea.

She was waiting quite a while for Dave

she wondered, "Has he forgotten me?"

Nine days had passed

Dave was still at his cheap hotel.

Grandma was still waiting

did Dave ever get there? I can't tell.
